Irish or Celtic Styled Rosaries

Irish rosary beads are also a very popular religious gift.  Any Irish Catholic person would love this type of gift, since it would be so unique.  The variety available is amazing.  You can get beads shaped like green shamrocks or made from 5000 year old green or near-green Connemara Marble.  The crucifix itself might be in the form of an Irish cross or a more modern style.  A traditional Irish cross might be more meaningful to those wanting an Irish rosary.  The cross represents unity we have with our three in one God.  Combine that with green beads and a silver or gold chain and you get a beautiful symbol of faith.  The faith of the Irish is strong as is the harsh landscape of much of Ireland.  You can buy rosaries with pewter, real silver, real gold or metal crucifixes.  You can find traditional length rosaries or the one decade kind.  Also available are key chains that have one decade of beads on them.  It is said the one decade beads where created so that the Irish faithful could more easily hide the objects of their faith from those against it.
